Businesses, clubs, schools and charities are all invited to take part in the lively, colourful procession. With prizes for the best entries!

The theme this year, is simply "Carnival". So let your imagination run riot with colour, music, dress and decoration!

Themed and fancy dressed walkers are very welcome. There will be prizes for many categories.

Float construction hints and tips are included with every entry pack. We hope over 90 floats and walkers will take part in this year's procession including a number of local and international bands, dancers, local businesses, charities, clubs, vintage cars, steam engines, etc... More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the carnival this year. Just think of all that Free PUBLICITY.
